Chinese Herbal Medicine

Chinese herbal medicine may be used in conjunction with acupuncture, Chinese food therapy or as a sole therapy. Similar to Chinese food therapy, Chinese herbal medicine uses diagnostic techniques specific to Chinese medicine to determine which formula closely matches the patient’s needs. Chinese herbs often are used for such problems as hindquarter weakness, renal disease, liver disease, skin disease, arthritis, breathing problems, gastrointestinal problems and emotional problems.
