After working for many years in a traditional veterinary office, I saw a need for more personal and less dangerous treatments for companion animals — treatments that do not cause unwanted side effects. Through holistic medicine, sick and sometimes terminally ill pets can get the care and attention they need to make their recovery or their last days as comfortable as possible.
Alternative treatments sometimes are mistakenly believed to be less effective than the medical procedures and medicines so commonly used in a typical veterinary practice. However, to the many animals whose lives we have extended without sacrificing quality of life, alternative treatments have provided nothing less than great care.
Our holistic treatments include acupuncture, herbal medicine, dietary therapy and homeopathy.
Although we are the primary care veterinarian for most of our clients, some of them consult with us as well as with their non-holistic regular veterinarian. At a client’s request, we are happy to share our treatment notes with his or her regular veterinarian.
We Make House Calls
